Hi, nice to e-meet you! I help couples move from disconnection and frustration to genuine understanding and renewed intimacy. If you’re here, you’re might be wondering whether things can actually get better. They can – and I’d love to show you how. I specialize in and am passionate about couples therapy because I believe relationships are worth fighting for.
Here’s what guides my work:
- Love is a choice, not just a feeling - it requires intention, especially when things feel hard.
- You are whole, even when your relationship feels broken. My role is to help you reconnect with that wholeness in yourself and each other.
- Growth happens through honesty - with yourself, your partner and the relationship you’re building together.
My practice is grounded in authenticity, awareness, accountability, and collaboration. I want couples to know that I have a deep respect and understanding that relationships are both beautiful and messy.
My Training & Credentials:
- Masters in Counselling, Gonzaga University
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Level 2 Trained
- Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC#24138) with BCACC
In addition, I am deeply inspired by Esther Perel’s work on desire, intimacy, and helping couples navigate the tension between security and passion. Also, I utilize Gestalt therapy techniques, which help couples become more aware of how they communicate and relate in the present moment - noticing patterns, emotions, and blocks as they happen so we can work through them together in real time.
A Little More About Me:
I love to spend time in water, though I am not a swimmer I am more of a sit on a floatie or hot spring soaker. I am a big fan of sushi, and I swear that an icy cold A&W root beer can always make my day better. I also work with horses and am a Certified Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator where I help people learn social skills with the help of horses. I look forward to connecting with you.
